ENDÜSTRİYEL ASTAR
DESCRIPTION: Modified alkyd resin based, air drying feature, excellent covering property, does not contain lead and aromatic solvent, fast drying and scratch resistance synthetic based decorative purpose paint primer.
PROPERTIES:ALBERA ENDÜSTRİYEL ASTAR is a superior adhesion property, excellent covering property and scratch resistance ability synthetic based paint primer. The resistance to yellowing is strengthened. It has a excellent hiding ability. It does not spill and blister. It does not flow after application. It has high resistance against corrosion and UV rays.
APPLICATION AREAS: ALBERA ENDÜSTRİYEL ASTAR can be used safely in all kinds of machine parts painting, agricultural tools, home and garden tools, industrial productions such as pipes, boilers, cranes and painting steel structures such as hangars and warehouses.
APPLICATION: The surfaces to be applied by ALBERA ENDÜSTRİYEL ASTAR should be dry, clean, sound and free from dust.Blistered and / or loose areas on the surface should be absolutely blasted and surface prepared. Surface oil, soot, rust and dirty areas should be cleaned with suitable materials before application. Sanding should be done on old painted surfaces to be painted.During application, care must be taken that the surface and ambient temperature is between +5 °C and +30 °Cand curing and minimum + 3 ° C above the dew point.Ventilation is required during indoor application and drying. Application can be done in 1 or 2 layers and by waiting for minimum 20 minutes between coats by brush, roller or spray method.Tools can be cleaned with cellulosicthinner.
THINNING RATIO: In brush and roller applications, it should be thinned by 10% by weight with cellulosic thinner(approx. 0,25 kg of cellulosic thinner for 2,5 kg packaging). In applications made with spraying method, it should be thinned by 20% by weight with cellulosic thinner (approx. 0,50 kg of cellulosic thinner for 2,5 kg packaging).
DRYING TIME: ( 20 °C, HR %65 )Touch drying time 20-30 minutes, topcoat paint application time 2-3 hours,exact drying time is 24 hours, chemical drying time is 3-5 days.
CONSUMPTION: Depending on the condition of type of surface, absorption and ambient conditions to be applied, with 1 kilogram can be primed 3-4 m² on one coat at 50 micron dry film thickness.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: It has a shelf life of 1 years inareas without direct sunlight and in an environment with ambient temperature between +5 °C and +30 °C for unopened packages.
