GRENLİ ASTAR

DESCRIPTION: Styrene acrylic copolymer emulsion based, water based, silicone based, long drying time ability, matt, high covering property, textured view decorative exterior paint primer.  

PROPERTIES: ALBERA GRENLİ ASTAR is water based, matt, high covering property, improved water repellency, silicone based, textured view decorative exterior paint primer. It has a excellent adhesion to applied surfaces. It does not spill and blister. Water repellency and vapor permeability are very high because of the special silicone structure it contains. It has also perfect breathing ability. This allows the surfaces to stay dry by evacuating the existing moisture. It increases the adhesion strength between the surface and the paint. It is highly resistant to impact and abrasion. It enables application without defects on pattern in large areas because of long drying time.  It closes the hair cracks and plaster fluctuations on surfaces due to its textured view.

APPLICATION AREAS: ALBERA GRENLİ ASTAR can be used safely in all types of exterior wall areas such as mineral substrate, plaster, concrete and old painted surfaces. 

APPLICATION: The surfaces to be applied by ALBERA GRENLİ ASTAR should be dry, clean, sound and free from dust. Blistered and / or loose areas on the surface should be absolutely blasted and surface prepared. Surface oil, soot, rust and dirty areas should be cleaned with suitable materials before application. Priming application can be done by giving different types of patterns with ALBERA DECOTOOLS PROFESYONEL MERCAN RULO. Excessive combing with roller during application can lead to distortion of patterns. Do not apply under wind and direct sunlight. During application, care must be taken that the surface and ambient temperature is between +5 °C and +30 °C. Tools can be cleaned with water.

THINNING RATIO: Ready to use. Do not thin with water.

DRYING TIME: ( 20 °C, HR %65 ) Touch drying time 6 hours, paint application time 24 hours. The application should be protected from freezing conditions during the exact drying period.

CONSUMPTION: Depending on the condition of type of surface, absorption and ambient conditions and desired pattern to be applied, with 1 kg 1-1,5 m² can be primed on one coat. 

STORAGE CONDITIONS: It has a shelf life of 1 year in areas without direct sunlight and in an environment with ambient temperature between +5 °C and +30 °C for unopened packages. Storage environment should be absolutely protected from freezing. Opened and non-thinned products can be stored if tightly closed.
