DESCRIPTION: Acrylic copolymer emulsion based, water based, added to mortars prepared with cement on surfaces requiring excellent adhesion and water impermeability decorative ready to use emulsion.
PROPERTIES:ALBERA LATEKS-PRO is water based,preventing capillary cracking, added to mortars prepared with cement on surfaces requiring excellent adhesion and water impermeability decorative ready to use emulsion.ALBERA LATEKS-PRO provides high elasticity, water impermeability, reduction of shrinkage effect, increase resistance of abrasion and improvement of chemical resistance to mortars prepared by adding cement based mortars to certain amount of mixture water.
APPLICATION AREAS: ALBERA LATEKS-PRO can be used safely in all types of thin plate repair mortars, flooring screeds, concrete repair mortars, ceramic adhesive mortars, exterior-interior surface plaster mortars and extreme strength cementitious coatings.
SURFACE PREPARATION:ALBERA LATEKS-PRO must be dry, clean, strong and free from dust. Blistered and / or loose areas on the surface should be absolutely blasted and surface prepared. Surface oil, soot, rust and dirty areas should be cleaned with suitable materials before application. Areas to be applied should be brushed with a wire brush if absolutely necessary and the absorbent surfaces must be saturated with water.
APPLICATION: ALBERA LATEKS-PRO is generally used by adding up to 10% of cement weight to mortar mixture water. The mixture of emulsion and cement-sand prepared by mixing 1: 1-1: 4 (ALBERA LATEKS-PRO: water) ratio in clean mixture water is mixed by brushing or spraying on the surface.Plaster or screed should be done before complete drying.The slurry prepared to increase the strength of tiles and ceramic adhesives should be applied directly to the surface.No excess mixing should be done to mortar in order to prevent excessive air entrainment.The application temperature should be above +5 °C.The use of ALBERA LATEKS-PRO more than 10% of the cement weight prolongs the setting period of the mixture and reduces the strength. Tools can be cleaned with water.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: It has a shelf life of 1 year inareas without direct sunlight and in an environment with ambient temperature between +5 °C and +30 °C for unopened packages.Storage environment should be absolutely protected from freezing.
